Chapter 12 - The Night Without One Another

Liam POV

I haven't seen Nelly since after the football game last night. I went out with the boys and celebrated another win the them while Nellie had a sleepover with my Haley. Last night the boys and I came over to my guesthouse. We had a few drinks and played some video games, NFL 2005, obviously. I ordered some pizzas for all of us. Within 25 minutes our pizzas have arrived. I went and answered the door. I payed the pizza guy and closed the door behind me. I placed the pizzas on the kitchen table when I heard Carter laugh out and yell.

"Are those yours Liam?" I quickly turned around to see him. When I saw it I froze. Spencer’s eye also grew big.

"Dude! Stop horsing around. Give those to me."

"Are you kidding? F*ck no! I'm keeping those. We're going to have fun."

"What is wrong with you?" ?" Carter started stumbling everywhere in the guesthouse.

“The f*ck dude! You need to to settle down and give them to me.” He started shacking his head.

"She ends it with me, falls for you and gives you everything. What did I get from that tease? Nothing! Well maybe her panties."

Spencer was now up on his feet and he has had enough just like I was. We walked towards him and I snatched Nelly’s underwear from him and Spencer grabbed him by the back of his neck and dragged him out.

“Okay Carter! You need to go home.”

“You guys s*cks…” before he could finish Spencer closed the door on him and locked it. Spencer walked back towards us and slapped my back.

"You guys might want to pick up after yourselves before bringing people to your lair." rolled his eyes with a gross look on his face. I shook my head and started laughing.

“I hope these are Penelope’s and not some other chick.” I tilted my head and gave him a look of disgust.

“Really Spence?” he raised both his hands.

“Just making sure man. I don’t want my sister to get hurt.” And went back on the couch to play some some more NFL. I walked to the kitchen island and opened the boxes of pizza for us to eat. Poor Carter was going to miss out on food. Faults on him for being a jerk. Noah made is way to the island. I looked at his face which had healed pretty nicely.

“Thanks for inviting us Liam.”

“You guys are always welcome here.” We both grabbed a piece of of pizza and kept on talking.

“So you and Penelope?”

“Ya! Noah, about that…I’m sorry for latching at you like that.”

“Nah dude! I deserved it.”

“No you didn’t. I was way out of line.”

“I had no right in talking about Penelope like that. That night I was drunk and knew Spencer wasn’t around and thought it was okay to talk about her like that.”

“Im still very sorry Noah.” He took another bite of his pizza.

“Ya, don’t be.” I gave him a little questioning look. “Do you know how many girls would come up to me and told me they wanted to kiss my bobos? Way too many to count.” I started shocking on my pizza and grabbed water to try to make it go down. I slapped his shoulder.

“Good for you.”

“And to be honest I met someone.”

“No way, well good for you bud. Who’s the lucky girl?”

“It’s Megan.”

“Nelly and Haley’s friend?” he shook is head yes. I put my hand on his shoulder. “Im happy for you.” He gave me a smile and a nodded. We each grabbed a box of pizza and brought it to the living room table so the boys can grab some.

I couldn't wait for tonight. I still haven't seen Nelly all day. She was still with Haley's at her place. The girls we're getting ready for the Halloween Party that was being held at Nelly's and Spencer's. Nelly wanted us to do a group costume. At first Spencer and I we're quite hesitant but when she told us what she had in mind we though it actually soothed our childhood. Nelly wanted all of us at her place atleast and hour earlier. Spencer was at my place. He said he couldn’t stay at his house. The girls had apparently started turning the house into a haunted house. We all know when the girls put their heads together they come up with great ideas and bring their visions to life. I’m not doubting them one bit for tonight. It was almost time to head out. I grabbed my costume, Spencer and I made our way to his vehicle. And we made our way to his place.

Penelope’s POV

Friday has been a long night. After the football game and the boys winning it. We went our separate ways. Liam and the boys went to his guesthouse to have a little celebration. While Haley and myself came back to my place and start setting up for the Halloween party happening here tomorrow night.

“We got all the decorations, food and drinks we need for tomorrow.” I told Haley

“Have you organised the music?”

“Sure did, I added all the CD’s in the Multi CD Player.” Our CD player holds 80 CD’s and shuffles. It’s perfect to host a party and not having to worry about music.

“On shuffle right?”

“Duh!” we both started laughing. Tonight we started decorating the house so we would have little to nothing to do tomorrow night. We set up a strobe light and a fog machine. We tested it to make sure it was going to work for the whole area. We hung some skulls, feet, hands and skeletons. We added some spiderwebs around the house with some fake spiders all over them. I think the coolest decoration Haley and I have found is a mirror that reflects a reflection when you look at it and after a while the reflection jumps forward scaring you. I mean really scare you. After working on the decorations till 2am, both Haley and I we’re exhausted. We decided to pick up whatever needed to go in the garbage and head out to bed. We turned around when the front door opened. Spencer looked around the area.

“Damn girls! I don’t even recognized the house anymore. You guys did an amazing job.” We we’re both very thrilled to hear.

“Thanks Spence, Haley and I have been working for a couple hours and are exhausted. How was a night out with the boys?” he let out a slight laugh.

“If you want to ask about Liam, just do.” I shrug my shoulders.

“It’s fine. But seriously how was it.”

“Well it’s been a while since we hanged out all together. Carter found a pair of your underwear and started playing with them.” I was mortified.

“What?”

“Ya, found them under the couch.” I slapped my forehead.

“Oh no. Im so embarrassed. What happened?”

“Liam took them from him and I dragged him out and told him to go home.” I put both my hands on my face.

“If Carter was drunk he wont even remember. That guy blacks out 2 out of 3 times. I wouldn’t worry.” Haley added. I do hope she was right. I didn’t want Carter to tease me about it. “Don’t worry about it sis. Go to bed and get some beauty sleep before tomorrow. You has well Haley. And you know if anything happened Liam will do something about it.” Ya, that what scares me. Liam would do something about it and it would be pretty bad. Haley and I both made our way to my bedroom. We changed into our pyjamas, brushed our teeth and slipped into my bed.

“Quick question Penny.”

“Ya, Hales?”

“After you and Liam had s*x in this bed, did you wash you sheets?” I grabbed a pillow and smacked it on her face. “Ouch!”

“That’s on you girl.” We both laughed and before we knew it we we’re drifted into Lalaland.

It was now morning, roughly 11 AM. I got up before Haley did. I started stretching when I think I smacked her in the face. She started grunting at me.

“Dude seriously?” this one was on me.

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to slap you. I was stretching.” she sat up in the bed beside me.

“All good. We need to get up anyways.”

“I agree. I need coffee. I need to be more awake if I want to finish getting ready for tonight.” Haley nodded and rubbed her eyes and got off the bed. We quickly got ready and made our way downstairs in the kitchen to have coffee and some breakfast or should I say lunch 'cause by the time we were done getting ready it was almost 12:00 o'clock. . When we got into the kitchen Spencer was sitting at the island any turn to us when we walked in.

“Morning girls.”

“Morning Spence” we both replied.

“As much I want to stay here today with you ladies, I’m going to head out.”

“Why?” I asked him

“This..” moving his hands around the place. “…is giving me the creeps. So if you need me to pick up anything or whatever text me. I’ll help from afar.” Both Haley and I chuckled at Spencer. Poor guy was frightened both the decoration. He glared at the reflection mirror and I understood why. Poor guy probably scared himself when he looked at it. I seriously can’t wait to see everyone staring at it tonight. Maybe I should record everyone’s reaction. I think we need to add a camera to the mirror.

While Spencer was at Liam’s for the day. Haley and I finalized the rest of the party. We hung the last minutes decoration. Put all the drinks in the basement refrigerator. We took some tupperwares out and starting setting up the snacks for the evening. After we were all done getting that ready we each took turns taking a shower. After our showers I blow dried my hair straight while Haley put some curl cream in her hair and diffused it. we did our makeup, we did a light layer of foundation, put on some mascara, some eyeliner, for my eye shadow I did pink and Haley did yellow.

We both put on our costumes and waiting for Liam and Spencer to show up. It was 5:57pm. They should be here any minute now. I asked them to be here by 6pm. We heard a vehicle coming in the driveway. Within a few seconds the front door opened.
