Zander's POV
"What the hell did you do?!" Logan growled ferociously when Vittoria ran away from us after I tried to reject her.
"I did what I had to do..." unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete it. Now I don't even dare to run after her.
"You wanted to reject her right after her wolf came back? Are you trying to kill her again?!" he snapped.
I've never seen him this furious before. I can't blame him though.
"You should have told me! It's not just your decision to make!" he roared.
"This is what I think was for the best," I answered quietly.
It may be the dumbest decision that I will make in my entire life, but I will stand by it. I'd rather have her brokenhearted than dead.
"She won't die if we are there to protect her!" Logan insisted. "That's what we needed to do, you i***t!"
