"Are you wolfless?" Zander asked all of a sudden, which shook me to the core!
How? Did he have an idea just because I didn't want to run in my wolf form?
I gulped when I remembered Logan. He must be trying to connect with Athena. But because she was gone, he couldn't. Does he despise me more now? Will he reject me?
"No," I mumbled while trying my best to control my emotions. I can't break down in front of him.
He stared at me for a while but I avoided his gaze. He didn't say anything. He just pointed me in the direction I needed to go in.
"Thank you," I forced myself to speak before turning my back on him.
