Unexpected Visitors

SHANE’S POV:

When we enter the restaurant, I was happy for spending my time with Isha but next moment that happiness jumped out of the window of restaurant and there standing my Ex with her toy boy flaunting him in front of her friends

It made my mood foul and all I want to run from the restaurant and through punches at someone to get rid of my rage

There I listen the voice that calmed me immediately

Hey Shane …. Umm you all right she asked

Oh yeah, I am perfectly fine I replied while trying to stop staring to the table my EX was sitting

Do you know her she asked me while looking straight at me?

No, I don’t I told her bit annoyed how she could read that so easily

Okay whatever you say she rolled her eyes … but I am not feeling comfortable here … if you don’t mind can we go somewhere else … I mean its so crowded and I hate it she urged me with urgency in her voice

Okay if you are not comfortable, we can go somewhere bit private I said to her with concern

Ummm okay I know a place closer by if you don’t mind, we can go there for our dinner and spend some quality time she suggested to me with her finger crossed… I looked at her and smile before replying ….Sure

We went to some restaurant which felt cozy and spent a lot of time together laughing… I didn’t know it will be this easy to be with her. She is so naturally friendly person with whom you can talk about anything but still feel like special.

When we were done.. I took her to her house. Before I could say bye to her … her question took me by surprise

Hey how are you feeling now

I looked at her what she was asking then I realise what she meant by that

Ummmmm yeah I am fine thanks to you for taking me away from there ..but I am curious how did you know I asked

Well .. that’s simple.. your behaviour .. ummm you were looking wounded and ready to through punches that’s how she said with smile

Thank you so much …I said I couldn’t stop admiring her every moment she gives me surprise with her unique and understanding nature I was about to leave her at her door she started talking

Hey Shane, I enjoyed time with you thank you for the date she said smiling to me

You too …I said than an idea came to my mind

Hey Isha, I have a party to attend would you like to join me for that as my date I asked her with hopeful and pleading eyes

Please please please god make her say yes

First, she hesitated then she nodded in yes

Send me details I would love to join you she said

So we have second date I said

Noppppeee just a friendly date she replied

Yeah …yeah friendly date whatever .. (I will make it official date don’t worry sweetheart) I thought to myself and nodded to her and waved goodbye to her

I went home and saw my parent’s car that mean they are waiting for me at home

I was very surprised to see them together and at my place that mean they are not here for good. Whenever they came here, I had to do something that I really didn’t want they adopted me as their son but they think me no more than a servant

Oh god please save me from these monsters this time I thought to myself

They looked at me and smile as I entered home

Hey son how are you doing dad said and put his one hand on my shoulder and I shudder that instant

Mom rolled her eyes but smile a warm smile which mean I am in big problem they want something I am sure about it

I am fine dad I replied reluctantly

Mom came closer to me and hugged me like there is no tomorrow

This show of love and admiration I am not used to it

What are you doing here I asked them

Why son can’t we just visit you after all you are our son honey,” mom replied as this honey dripping from their tongues I can smell something is fishy without nay reason they won’t even acknowledge me and here they are showring lot of love

I know mom you can come here anytime but I was just surprised coz this unannounced visit tells me you guys want something from me so tell me already so we can cut this cat and mouse show I said dismissing her

Ummm that’s what I like about you sunny lets get to the point dad said

We want you to make us partners with you in you latest contract with Star Tracks mom said

And why would you want that I long as I know you have your own share of contracts I said

Ummm we don’t need to tell you that why? You just need to follow what we said we gave you our name and this is how you repay us mom said angrily

Mom I didn’t say no but I want to know reason I said

Because we want to make good professional relationship with Star Tracks as you know they have grown in few month quite well we know they gonna be on top soon and if we make alliance with them then it only gonna favour us in future dad said

I narrowed my eyes on them that can’t be the only reason but soon I will get to know about it I thought to myself

That’s my boy now we will be leaving mom said

As they left my house I was standing at door when they were walking towards their car

I thought it gonna take lots of convincing but thank god this hell finished soon and he have no idea what we are upto mom said

Shhh be quite honey not here we will celebrate this after we reach dad said that broke my heart they don,t even consider me as human
