I opened my eyes and felt an arm restricting my movement. Ian is pressed against me, and his warmth envelops me. This hasn't happened until now. The most sensible thing is to get out of here before any of his friends see us. I don't think he's ready to say anything about it, and I can't face him because, even though I'm his wife, it's not a real marriage, and they both know it. I stood up and quickly slid into my pajamas before approaching the door. I peek out and sneak out of Ian's room just as the sun is about to rise. It was an entertaining night, and parts of me hurt that I didn't even know I had. I glance over my shoulder and see Ian deeply asleep, barely covered by a sheet. I sigh and shake my head.
