The safehouse looked nothing like I expected.
Honestly, I didn’t even know what I expected. Maybe some dark underground bunker with weapons everywhere and dramatic lighting like a f*****g action movie.
Instead, the place looked almost normal from the outside. A massive house hidden behind iron gates and heavy security with trees surrounding most of the property so completely that it felt cut off from the rest of the world.
Which somehow made it worse.The gates closed behind us and it made my stomach while Leone’s convoy pulled farther into the property.
