Jennifer walked into the kitchen behind her father. He sighed as he prepared for this conversation.
Jennifer took a seat in one of the island stools and laced her fingers together as she waited for him to speak.
"I know I'm a tough man to deal with and I haven't been making your stay easy."

"But we're going on into the new year and I want things to be normal between us." He looked at her with a firm look.
