flashback 8 year old Kaya's P.O.V
I woke up and went into the living room mommy and her new boyfriend where sleeping on the couch. I wanted to wake mommy up but I learned last time if I try to wake mommy up I would get in trouble. I didn't like mommy's new boyfriend, ever since she got the new boyfriend he would give mommy this powder that would make Mommy sick.
It has been 4 years since my papa died, and I missed him a lot. Mommy hasn't been herself since Papa died. mommy used to cry a lot, but then she got her new boyfriend and she doesn't cry anymore she just puts that powder stuff in her nose and then get sick. When Papa was alive mama would play with me, and we would do fun things. She doesn't do that anymore. When she looks at me she looks sad.
