“I know Jacob had you only eating raw meat, but I promise you’re going to love Cheetos.” You held the Cheeto out to the Judge, who only stared at you. “I won’t tell him.” You moved it closer. He sniffed it and licked it once before gently taking it into his mouth and chewing it quickly. “Good?” You looked at him, he moved forward and nudged your hand for another. “I think we’re going to get along fine, boy.” You smiled and patted him, tossing him another. You had settled into your cabin by the lake, you often spent the mornings on the porch, staring out at the water with the Judge sitting next to you.
