Rachel came over early the next morning carrying her dress and bag with her shoes and make-up she was wearing to the party. She looked me up and down and said: "hey what's up I thought we needed to decorate looks like your heading out." I tell her "We are. June says tonight is too important and too special to allow a bunch of High School kids decorate for the party so she hired a party planner. They are going to do the whole set up." "Oh, so why did you ask me to come over so early" "well you and I are going to have a spa day just the two of no boys allowed. We will get massages, facials, our hair and make-up done. Especially since you are my closest girlfriend and maid of honor I need to make sure we look great tonight" "really Elle made of honor thank-you so much" She hugged me and I heard chuckling coming from behind me "so you finally told her twin" "yep, I did" Next thing I know I am spun around and lifted in the air before two lips crash into mine and I get a kiss that leaves me breathless yet again. "have fun you two I love you Shelly bye" Noah places me back on my feet just as Lee kisses Rachel good-bye.
Rachel and I had a blast at the salon. Luckily we both had pictures of our dresses so the stylists were able to match our nails to the dresses. I had Rachel text, Mrs. Flynn, to get the boys to disappear so we could sneak in. Right before we left we had put our dresses and shoes in the guest room so we could dress in there and let the boys get dressed in their rooms. Rachel says "she says the coast is clear" We giggle and run up the stairs to the guest room and start getting ready. "Hey, Elle why didn't you want to get ready with Noah" I chuckle "you kidding me if I am standing there in my underwear trying to get dressed in front of Noah we will never leave the room." "can't keep his hands off you huh kind of like Lee"We cackle with each other and help zip up each others dresses. I had just finished putting on my shoes when my phone pings "are you girls ready" "yes, June" I send back. I look at my hand "it is nice Elle you are so lucky. I bet you are also excited after today you don't have to take it off" "yeah, I am now let's go make our men drool" As the two of us descend the stairs I lock eye's with Noah as I reach the bottom step he holds out his hand as I grasp it he says "damn, I am the luckiest man alive I have the most gorgeous fiancée in the world" I hear next to me "and I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world"
I made sure not to make any big gestures with my left hand as the guests were arriving. I couldn't help but love what the party planner did to the Flynn house for tonight. I knew tonight was going to be one of the most important night in our lives. After everyone ate dinner, June insisted, Noah grabbed my hand as the waiters passed around champagne and waited until all the guests had a glass and he had their attention. I hear him clear his throat and say "I fell in love with Shelly when I was only 7 years old. After all these years she is finally mine. I would like you all to raise a glass to the future, Mrs. Noah Flynn.
