Casey would take care of the reading log since he’d already been reading with Cooper every evening, and if there was ever any other homework, he would do that, too. He would also help Cooper lay out his clothes for the next day, and in the morning, Grandma Shirley would remind Cooper to go straight to class instead of to the cafeteria as he’d already had plenty to eat. Hopefully, this would make Cooper’s school day go better. But, obviously, there was more that needed to be done.
