Freya, witnessing Raymond's affection toward Lilian, was fond of William, so she instinctively referred to him as the little master.
"Is there anything wrong with that, Ms. Ashcroft?" Freya queried.
"William is not the 'little master'. If Ms. Cowell overhears this, it could spell trouble. It wouldn't be good for William," Lilian expressed her worries.
Taking heed of Lilian's caution, Freya quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, Ms. Ashcroft. I just can't help thinking how much William resembles Mr. Morgan as a child. It was my mistake."
Raymond hadn't yet broken off his engagement with Lucille. Therefore, if the latter heard Freya's words and reacted negatively toward William, it could cause serious problems.
"No worries. Just be more careful from now on." Lilian felt a bit relieved.
