Liam's POV I held Ava in my arms as she cried, her tears falling freely, her sobs breaking into hiccups and gasps. The doctor stood just a few feet away, his face etched with concern, but he stayed silent. I rubbed slow circles on her back, waiting for her to let it all out, though my heart was pounding with worry. What could have happened?
