Drake's head jerked back while he gaped. Sierra's intent to put distance between them,even if it meant fleeing into the frigid water clothed, shocked his rational mind. He let out a bark of laughter.
"A kiss is undeniable, Sierra. You're forestalling the inevitable," he called out as she waded around in the water just out of his reach.
Sierra froze in place. Drake's stunned expression hinted that her getaway had been too dramatic. She came closer to him to rid herself of the cringe-worthy feeling.
"If you want that kiss, why don't you come and get it?" she challenged him, knowing that he wouldn't be able to handle the chill of the water. She used her foot to push off Drake's rock, splashing him one time before slipping out of his reach.
"Ahh, you're going to regret that." Drake brushed
