Chapter 2

I’m on my way to work. I’ve decided that I’m going to quit my job. Once i arrive, I walk around the studio cautiously because I really didn’t want to run into Henry. I walk into my boss’s office. “Come in” I turn the door knob and open the door to see Henry sat down opposite my boss. “Riele, please take a seat.” He says pointing at the seat next to Henry. I do as he says and sit. “I've heard about what happened yesterday.” I looked over at Henry. He looked like he was going to s**t himself. “Although I’m not pleased with Henry’s reaction, AT ALL, I still want to congratulate you two” the room was in silence until Henry spoke. “You don’t have to; she’s getting rid of it.” “No, I'm not” I say pissed. Henry jumped out from his chair “What is wrong with you!! We’re 19 years old!” he shouts in anger. “So what are you going to do then?” my boss asks while facing me. “I don’t know. I only came to quit” My boss only nodded his head. “because of Henry’s behaviour yesterday, I have called your parents in.” Said my boss. I froze while henry began choking on his saliva. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. “Come in” as soon as my boss said that, my father barged in the room ready to kill henry. “Why you little...!” Henry’s father quickly comes and stops my father from harming him.

Our parents talked to our boss then he left the office so we can discuss the issue. "We have come to an agreement" I looked up at Henry's mum confused at what she said "since riele is pregnant, you two will get married" she continued. My heart skipped a bit, I didn't dare to look at henry. The room went silent. I stare at the ground because I am too scared to look up. I have tears in my eyes. "I'm sorry" says Henry's father. Our parents talked a bit more then we left the room. Henry didn't say anything, he didn't even look at me.

I felt like crap once I got home. I had to call up my friends to tell them what was going on.

Riele: Guys??

Katja: Hiiii

Mia: watsup?

Riele: I need to tell you guys something

Katja: okkkkkk

Mia: what's wrong, did something happen

Riele: I'm pregnant

Katja:

Mia: who's the dad

Riele:Ummm.... Henry??

Katja: whatttt

Mia: I swear I'm gonna kill him ugh

Riele: that's not all....

We're also getting married.

Mia: no way

Katja: but is this against your will?

Riele: yeah

Mia: I'm coming over

Katja: me too

Riele: c ya

I put down my phone and lay on the bed. I could'nt believe this is happening. I get another text. It was from my mum.

mum: Hunny we have decided to hold the weeding in two weeks from now. We're going shopping for you're dress tomorrow morning. And don't for get to invite you're friends so they can pic out their brides maid dresess.

Riele:okay

I start to think about what things would be like if henry weren't so mean to me. If what happend In the 5th grade never happend. Maybe i would be happy right now.

I hear knocks on the door. It's probabily the girls. I open the do was and Katja jumps on me out nowhere."Riele... I'm so sorry this happend to you!" She was hugging me so tightly to the point i could hardly breath. Behind her follows Mia. "Katja!!! Get off her!!" Katja instantly does what she says. They come in and we sit on the sofa. We just sat there akwardly. " By the way, tomorrow you guys need to come with me to get my dress. Oh and we're also getting the brides maid dresses for you guys. Katja starts jumping and screaming like a little girl thats about to buy her favorite doll. "Alright..alright" i say laughing. Mia just sat there and smiled the hole time. I explained everything that happend. "I can't believe it... this guy has been an ass to you since middle school and now you're.." I cut her off. "I know, i know" We stayed in silence for a while until Katja spoke. " But if you do have this baby, what are you going to him or her when their older..you know... about you're relationship with henry?" I froze. I never thought about that. "Don't worry about it for now. Right now you need to be concentrating on yourself. Don't forget, stress isn't good for the baby."Says Mia, calmly. I nodd. " Girls shall we watch a movie?" Katja sugested. We agreed to watch a movie. Watching movies with them reminded my of the good days. Watching movies was the only way they ever knew to calm me down.

4 YEARS AGO

I fall to the ground but refuse to cry. "Oh, i see you're not crying this time. huh, well I'll make you cry" He then kicks me in my stomach. I scream in pain but nobody helps me. Everyone was just circled around us watching. He was about to kick me in the face when..."Henry Jones!!!!" Mia and Katja come running towards us. Mia slaps Henry in the face and starts shouting at him while Katja was helping me up. We ditched the rest of the school day and went to Katja's house. While we were there they took a bunch of snacks, Wrapped me in blankets and put on my favorite movie. My favorite movie was Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. We would watch it over and over again until we fell a sleep.
