I woke up with a start the next morning. The faint smell of medicine wafted in the air and the smell of freshly-laundered clothing clung on the insides of my nose. I stirred. As soon as I opened my eyes, fluorescent lighting and pale walls greeted my senses, rendering me blind for a good two minutes.
Am I in a human hospital?
I mean, I’ve been in one before but never as a patient. I once pretended to be a doctor, or that one unfortunate moment where I was a janitor. But I was never a patient. Imagine what they would see inside of me once they begin their high-tech examinations.
