NATHAN’S POV “So, you’re leaving, now? Like you always do?” “Aha! I knew it,” Alastair crowed and laughed, tapping Sybil harshly in the shoulder. “You’re gonna miss me, aren’t you?” “Oh, please.” Alastair just laughed again and threw her a big hug, her face buried on the crook of the old woman’s neck. “I guess some things just don’t change, huh, Syb?” She slowly pulled away from the hug and I could’ve sworn I saw a glitter of a tear starting to form in her usually playful eyes. “You still smell like the dead. You should really consider ditching Neigh-neigh over there. I think he’s beginning to rub off of you. Your face is beginning to grow elongated. The next thing I know, you’d be eating grass.” The horse behind them just kicked on the doormat and started treading back into the house
