Aurel's POV
As a person who returned to her old life, it wasn't too difficult for me to do my new job. Everything went well, although sometimes there were a few obstacles. Many helped me.
I haven't seen anyone in two days, including that guy I sent a message asking him some things. He replied to the message but never came. I think disappointment came over me after feeling that way.
Mathias seemed to have lost interest in me—maybe he did—but it shouldn't have kept me from thinking properly.
"Why are you in that position? Are you sick?"
Angela placed her cream bag on the table, repositioned her glasses, and continued to observe me. She had just come from her office. She crossed her legs, her spoiled attitude so obvious.
