"Um..." In the middle of a dream, Jessica suddenly moaned in pain as she pressed her hand to her stomach.
Howard immediately withdrew his hand.
He hadn't even touched her yet, and she was already in pain?
Waking up in pain, Jessica groggily opened her eyes. Her gaze locked onto Howard, who was crouching right in front of her, dangerously close. Startled, she scooted back. "What are you doing?"
"What's with that look? You thought I was going to touch you?" Howard remained calm and composed. He wasn't the one feeling awkward.
Jessica was momentarily lost for words, enduring the pain in her stomach. She asked, "Then why are you so close to me?"
"If I said I wanted to touch you just now, would you believe it?" Howard replied, half-serious and half-teasing.
"You..." Jessica got irritated
