Jessica was startled, and her hand about to open the door suddenly froze in the air. She turned her head subconsciously, only to see Howard answering a business negotiation video call and a large projection appearing on the wall opposite. It was a face with deep features of a foreign man about forty years old. He was wearing a suit and tie, looking very gentlemanly.
The man started talking a lot as soon as the video call was connected.
