I stared at the door, my heart pounding faster as I stared back at Alpha Grindley, who was also staring at me, his grip firm on my shoulders.
“Alpha!” another werewolf soldier called, but Alpha Grindley, thinking it was Lucian, got more angered.
“I said leave!” Alpha Grindley growled, and in anger, he hit his hand on the iron door, causing it to bend.
“The north region has been attacked!” One of the werewolf soldiers interrupted.
I rolled my eyes in tears, thanking the moon goddess that I'd finally been saved from this whole bullshit.
I mean, at least I won't be banged tonight, and apart from that, I'd have time alone to talk to Elder Jack.
