Ava’s POV
Fear gripped me as I rushed out, only to be met by a sword that almost thrust into me, causing me to scream at the top of my voice.
“Ahh!!” I screamed. Seeing how the Mooner's pack was massacred and even the maids were not left behind. It's clear that whoever these attackers were, they didn't come to enslave anyone, but they were so mean.
“Neva, I'm scared.” I cried out, as I felt my legs become so heavy. I didn't know where to run to. Everywhere was filled with blood, which flowed down my feet.
“Have you seen the Luna?” I heard Alpha Grindley's voice asking his second-in-command, John.
“No, Alpha!”
“Keep fighting. I think we can't hold this for long. Ask everyone to retreat. Fast!” I heard Alpha Grindley command.
