Ava's POV The doctor glanced between Aunt Janet and me, noting the tension on my face. "Relax, Miss Ava, you’re okay... at least..." the doctor sighed, trailing off with, "For now." He handed Aunt Janet a white envelope, which she checked but couldn’t decipher. "For now, we can’t tell if she’s okay or not. She might want to come back in three weeks." "Aunt Janet..." "Okay, thanks, doctor. She will definitely come around," Aunt Janet said, shaking the doctor’s hand and signaling me to stand up. Shaking, I followed Aunt Janet out of the hospital and into the Peugeot 505. Throughout the drive, we were both silent. "I’d like to get out here.
