Ava's POV Just as Aunt Janet crashed into the limousine in front of us, a stunned silence blanketed the street, the impact echoing even through the cars far behind us. If it hadn’t been for the seat belts holding us in place, we could have easily suffered serious injuries. "Are you hurt?" Aunt Janet asked, her voice tinged with worry as I placed my hand on my head and nodded vigorously. "I'm okay, I'm not hurt. Are you?" I asked, though we both seemed to forget that we were werewolves and there might be someone in that limousine who could have been hurt. "Why did you make that noise earlier?"
