Ava's POV
Just as I opened my eyes, I could barely see anything, and in front of me, people looked like trees.
Even though I could hear their voices, I could barely see who was standing right before me. I placed my hand gently on my forehand, as I tried to get out of bed.
"Hey, Priceless," A hand reached my shoulders, and I was fast to yank it off.
"Wow, that was--"
"Fast?" another person spoke before I finally saw who was standing in front of me.
"Alpha Lark," I heaved a sigh retreating into bed upon realizing I was in safe hands, only for me to see the Kitsune girl staring at me as if she wanted me dead.
"Priceless," Alpha Lark approached holding by the hand, while the whole place went quiet.
"Did someone die?" I was forced to ask seeing how tensed the whole place was.
