"I'm leaving." I said, making them look at me with wide eyes.
"Leaving?" Mia asked, confused.
"Yes, I'm leaving." I repeated.
"Why?" Mia asked.
"To where?" Grandma Nini asked.

"Why are you leaving?" Mia asked.
"Did Jason ask you to leave?" Grandma Nini asked.
"No." I shook my head as I brought out the divorce agreement from the file in my bag.
"We're no longer married." I said.
"What does that mean?" Mia asked, confused.
"Jason divorced me which means I have no right to stay here anymore." I said quietly as I felt a lump in my throat and my eyes swollen with tears but I fought it.
