*What's app text.* Him: Diana, you have all the right to be upset..... and no i won’t give you any excuses..] [I need some time to figure things out..] [I don't want to lose you.] [It was nice seeing you btw] "I did miss you", why did I have to say that, why? Isn't being pushed away enough for me to call it quits? Why do I have to be so stupid again. I wish I could say the same, I wish I could say it was nice seeing you.  When we got to the event I didn't expect to see anyone I know. But there we were at this beautiful place. There was something about it, it was different. It didn't feel safe, warm or welcoming. " hey can we go for coffee, I'll be around your area", said Tony. " Sure we can, tell me where we should meet, and I'll be there", Diana said. The place we were to meet was indeed close to home. It didn't take me long to meet up with Tony. "It has been a while", tony says as he pulls me in for a big hug. " I have missed you", Diana says as she reciprocates the hug. After Diana and tony exchanged the normal formalities, they started walking to their destination. "So how have you been?", tony asked. " I've been heartbroken", Diana replied. "Can you imagine I was ghosted, one minute everything is good the next minute I'm being ignored", Diana said breathing heavily from the walking. It was about 4:15pm in the day and she had worn some pair of dark blue pants, a pink T-shirt and she had thrown on her bomber jacket. She wore her most comfortable shoes and she didn't carry any bag. The sun was still pretty hot and she found herself regretting why she had worn the jacket in the first place. "He doesn't deserve you", I was also heartbroken too like two weeks ago. This girl I was dating was amazing and I really saw us going somewhere. But then she ended things saying she needs to work on herself", Tony said, his face showing a hint of sadness. All this time the two friends were going through the same thing and none of them knew it. " "At least you were told it over. I was just pushed away and I had to figure it out for myself, said  Diana with bitterness in her eyes. " "We are good, these things happen, they don't deserve us", said Tony as he pulled Diana and held her waist. If you were walking behind them you would probably think that's was a couple having a special moment, but it wasn't. It was two single people that just happened to be heartbroken at the same time. " There it is, Lava Latte. I told you I've been here before", said Diana as she tried to catch her breathe. "I would have gotten lost if I came here alone", said Tony. They walked into the gate and on to the place where the coffee place was. At the entrance the first thing that grabs their attention is the music. " why didn't you tell me this was an event", asked Diana with a look of disappointment in her eyes. "I want you to be surprised, you know I like to wing it", Tony replied.  Diana thought about what to say to tony next but she just just let it go. She thought that if she had known, she would have dressed better for the event. There were two events happening that day. One was an art show and the other was a hiphop event, all in one place. There were people seated under a small terrace that was decorated with pots of beautiful climbing flower plants. It reminded  Diana of a wedding. The people were dressed in mostly sneakers, t-shirts and jeans, so this made Diana feel more comfortable with her choice of clothes. There were tables out the coffee shop and people seated as they enjoyed their beers. " I thought this was a coffee place, you mean there is alcohol? ",asked Diana clearly shocked. " haha, yeah there is a coffee section and a bar section in this place", said Tony. "I know that girl, let's go say hi and sit there", said Diana as she walked towards the direction of the girl. I can't remember her name. Was is shir...something or sheila or arrg. I can't say her name if I don't remember it well. Diana thought. "Hi", said Diana. The girl said hi back looking a bit confused. " you don't remember me?" Diana asked.  "Oh hi, sorry I'm high right now", she said. They sat down and got to talking about the event , which one she was attending, and that's when Diana got to know that the art show was an event being held by someone she knew. " I can't believe Rob knows how to paint. I thought all he did was photography. He is so talented.", said Diana. All this time Diana was now sure that she knew who was coming. She kept looking at the entrance, part of her hoping she would see him and part of her hoping he didn't come at all. She was so anxious, like a new parent watching their baby try to walk.
