"Okay, I got this," Casey thought. "No problem. It's all under control."
She kept repeating those words, or variations of them, over and over. She was trying to convince herself, and she was doing a fine job. She almost felt confident.
No lie, Casey had confronted Grayson with all the intentions of laying into him. For once, passion had been the last thing on her mind when she looked at him. But then... It just happened. Nothing to worry about, though. Perfectly natural.
And in no way a problem.
She had this under control. She did. She really did.
