The song ended. Casey stepped up onto the stage. The wedding band's singer offered her his microphone. Thanking him, she smiled out at the crowd, which she couldn't really make out because of the spotlight blazing down at her.
"Good evening, everyone! Welcome to my selfie-wedding!" Casey began.
The crowd cheered.
Casey hesitated a beat, squinting slightly to read the next line on the discreetly placed teleprompter, while also trying valiantly not to look like she was reading from a prompter.
