Chapter 20John cleared his throat for the last time before heading towards Leah's room. He hoped not to sound as desperate as he felt. Just being in the same room with her was his undoing. He closely resembled a fresh-faced schoolboy where she was concerned. It was a good thing Leah was the only person that could wreak havoc on his nerves.
