I just laid there on my bed for the next few hours. Not thinking about anything. Just laid there and stared at the ceiling for no apparent reason. I just stayed in that position until someone opened the door to my bedroom, closed it, and sat on my bed until it dipped to my left, causing me to remove my eyes from where it was staring at. I looked over to my left and saw my dad looking down at me with a sad smile on his face. My face softened at the sight of his sad smile. I sat up and leaned on his shoulder as he starts to stroke my head in pure comfort. We continued to sit there in comfortable silence until he broke the silence by asking me a question.
