When I got over the initial shock that it brought me, I stood back up and painted her. I painted Sereia while floating in the ocean. The coral reef bright and beautiful, but they pale in comparison to Sereia. I was quite amazed at how she could still look beautiful even after going through that. I don't even think her tail was damaged when I first saw it.
It had a nice shape to it. I tried to capture the way it curves. Good thing I always sketch everything first before using paint over it. I had to draw and redraw some parts because I wasn't satisfied with the outcome but once I was satisfied, I started to color it in with water colors.
It was easier to capture her ethereal beauty with water colors as they are easier to blend than other types of paint. I was done with the first layer whe
