Sebastian sat in the lounge area sipping his whiskey, he twirls his drink around in his cup, his legs spread open as his back leans on the couch. He couldn't help but wonder what it was with this girl. When she's around he can't seem to focus, he just constantly gets lured into her. He knows he must stay on track; business always comes first, but he feels his control waning every time he gets close to her.
If he lets himself go, even if it's just once, he won't be able to stop. Fingering her was one thing, but the taste of her and hearing her moaning as she milked his fingers was enough to drive him off the edge. He doesn't know why, but it felt different, she wasn't like the other girls, not even close. Sebastian hated being touched, he couldn't stand it. The same goes for kissing, but with a girl like Amy, he was ready to risk it all.
"We're back!" Beth calls out as she and James stroll into the room. Sebastian turns to them, greeting them with a silent nod. The chefs and servants were working in the kitchen and dining room, getting dinner ready. James slides his hands into his pockets as he looks down at Sebastian. "So, Adam received the pictures you sent," Sebastian smirks, looking up as he meets James's gaze. "And?" James lets out a soft sigh. "He's threatening to kill you, he wants his daughter back and he's giving you 24 hours to take her home or- "Sebastian downs his drink slamming the empty glass on the coffee table before standing up. "My business?"
"He's not going to back down, Sebastian", Beth added. That is what tipped Sebastian over the edge. His eyes became dark. "What the hell do you mean?! He realizes I have his daughter under my control, right?!" Beth and James both turned to each other, staring in silence. Before Sebastian was going to flip out, Amy came up from behind them, overhearing the conversation as her face dropped "What...even for me? For his daughter, is he still choosing his pride?" They all turned to her. Somehow, Sebastian managed to control himself from flipping out. It was like the moment he locked eyes with her, she mentally soothed him, no touch required. Amy tears up, she can't believe her father. What if she was in more dangerous circumstances? What if she truly was kidnapped, locked, and beaten up? Would her father still not give up the damn war for her safety? This was all she thought about.
Beth walks towards her, placing her hands on her shoulders, making Amy meet her gaze. "Mia, I know you don't trust me; I mean I don't blame you but what I can promise is no matter how things go down, I won't let Sebastian hurt you, even James made that promise" Sebastian just scoffs cringing at the comfort she was giving her, he just strolled into the dining room ready to eat his dinner. James gave Amy a soft smile as he walked toward her nodding in response. "We'll get you out of this doll, you won't be trapped here forever" Beth runs her hand down Amy's back as she nods in response wiping her tears away. They made their way to the dining room. Amy sits on the opposite side of Sebastian, Beth, and James on the other edge.
{Two days later}
The war between Adam and Sebastian got worse. Adam snooped so low and is on the urge to destroy Sebastian's business. This made Sebastian extremely mad; he had enough of this bullshit and wanted revenge. A revenge that will pretty much destroy Adam altogether. Sebastian storms out of his office and makes his way to Amy's bedroom, sliding his hand to his back and pulling out his gun from the hem of his jeans. He kicked the door open, causing Amy to startle. She was standing on the terrace looking out at the beautiful lake. She makes her way inside and stops when she just blinks at him, she saw the terror in his eyes, and her eyes glance down at the gun. "Come here" he demands, she just shakes her head. "Whatever my father has done, please we can fix it... it wasn't my fault!" Sebastian walks towards her pointing the gun at her, his expression was cold, and his eyes were dark.
"I couldn't care less anymore about you Amy; your father made a huge mistake. It turns out, he doesn't care so much about your safety. This means I can do whatever I want with you right now. I just want to kill you" He growls, being now only a few inches from her face, he places the point of the gun on her chest, looking down into her fearful eyes. "Please Sebastian... there's got to be another way to get revenge, not like this... "She begs and pleases for her life. James storms into the room, walking towards the two of them. "Sebastian, what the f**k man!"
Sebastian held up his free hand towards James, keeping his eyes locked on Amy. "Stay out of this Buck, the game is over!" By now, he would have pulled the trigger not wasting any time, but he was lost in her eyes, too lost. He hesitated. "Sebastian, I know a way we can save the business and pull Adam completely out of the picture" Sebastian turned his head to look at James, his attention drawing away from Amy. He was listening.
"It's going to sound crazy but you need to marry Amy, she needs to take your last name. If anyone could save the business it would be her... think about it, she'd have your last name but her father still thinks she's a Quinn. He won't know she's secretly a Knight, with all the evidence she has against her father, and all the things he's involved in, she could threaten to expose him if he doesn't hand her the business. Once he does well, considering you're both legally married, she can easily hand you the documents and it'll all be yours"
Amy widened her eyes. "That's it? That's the only solution?" Sebastian presses the gun harder into her chest, scoffing. "We can't trust her buck; she'll easily betray us" Amy c***s her head to the side as her face drops. more into a serious look. "My father has blood on his hands, and not just people's blood but from children and young women, I'll never be able to forgive him for that, and sure you aren't great either but at least you don't scoop that low, so yes, I'll help you"
Sebastian narrowed his eyes at her. "That's easy, huh? Well, what's the catch then?" James folds his arms as Amy turns her head to look at him before meeting Sebastian's gaze again. "Money, I know my father will cut me off and I'll need a clean slate, money will help me get back onto my feet and start my life all over again, so you help me I'll help you"
Sebastian was impressed by how confident she was becoming. She went from this innocent yet bratty attitude to now talking business, she knew what she wanted, and it was all in her hands. Amy was Sebastian's only chance. He needed her. Amy slowly wraps her hand around Sebastian's wrist where he is holding the gun, his eyes shot down to her hand.
Initially, he would twist her hand at the touch, but he didn't. He just watched her as she bought the gun down away from her chest as his hand dropped to the side. Sebastian licked his lips before looking up at her again. "Fine, but I swear if you betray- "Amy pressed her lips together, taking a few steps back and folding her arms. "You'll kill me, yeah I know, I won't disappoint you" James gave her a slight smirk, he was happy, happy to save her life with his bright idea.
After a while, the three of them walked downstairs. James disappears, leaving only Sebastian and Amy in the lounge area. Sebastian walked over to the bar pouring himself a drink. He then picks up his glass and turns to face Amy, standing around with her arms folded. The two of them stare at each other for a long moment as Sebastian sips his drink. Once he pulls the glass from his lips he speaks up. "We get married in two days, get your s**t together. We leave for Vegas tomorrow morning" Amy nods, and without saying anything else she walks upstairs, it didn't take long for Beth to show up, James already filled her in on what was happening. "So, you're soon to be married, man Knight? Never thought I'd see this day coming". She teases walking over to him. Sebastian rolls his eyes playfully as he downs his drink before placing the empty glass on the bar counter.
"You're so funny I forgot to laugh, Ivanova" Sebastian walks over to her as Beth snickers. "I need Amy's passport and birth certificate" Beth nods. "When do you need it by?" she asks swiftly. "Tomorrow morning" Beth then nods again. "Noted, I got it covered" Sebastian nods back placing his hand on her shoulder giving a light tap, and uttering thanks before heading upstairs, what Sebastian now needed was a long hot shower, then lying on his bed and reading a book to calm his mind. Sebastian skips up the steps and stops in front of the door to Amy's room. The door was slightly creaked open. He pushes the door open a little and notices the room was empty, but he heard the water running from the bathroom. He instantly could smell her shower gel, and the sweet scent of lavender and shea butter instantly hit his nose, weakening his body. He shakes off the sudden urge to sneak up on her.
Sebastian curses to himself as he walks to his bedroom and his bathroom. The only thing he could picture was her naked body on the bed. He hadn't even kissed her yet. He hated kissing but her luscious lips made it hard for him to resist, he just wanted to know what she tasted like. Sebastian then strips himself off before walking into his shower and setting the water to the right temperature. He stood under the water for a while, he couldn't help but think about how he was going to be a married man in two days. He never really wanted a family or kids. Being a successful businessman/secret assassin meant he had to be alone, a wife or a girlfriend was out of the equation, and with enemies surrounding his life, he couldn't put them through that. He places his hands on the wall and hangs his head as the waterfalls all over him. There was only one person he was thinking about, the only person he couldn't get images out of his head, and that was Amy.
