OLIVIA’S POV:
“What?” My thoughts came out of my mouth. I didn’t understand, she would get stabbed?
“I’ve been here for nine months, waiting for the Alpha’s verdict. All of a sudden, one bulky guy enters, to tell me i’ll be killed, because i killed”, She finished, her eyes avoiding mine.
All of a sudden, I wished I could give her a hug. “I’m so sorry you had to go through that”, I uttered, trying to sound comforting.
Her smile brightened like the sun again, “Oh, that’s fine”, She tutted, “I’ve come to terms with it”.
My mind went to Lucian. I wondered how he was. Hopefully he was getting treated. Would he also think I put the poison in his food? Who put the poison in his food? It was obviously someone that knew he’d be eating from that particular plate. It’s just, how did they know?
