It was not yet dawn when he opened his eyes again, though the alarm clock told him it was past nine in the morning. Had he slept the entire night? Impossible. He wasn’t corporeal, his ethereal essence had no need for rest. Why had he fallen asleep? “It’s this body,” Angel answered his unspoken question. The sudden intrusion into his thought bubble made Three turn around. They were lying in the same spot where they had fallen onto the bed the evening before, though they must have disentangled themselves from each other in the night.
