"Not even a goodbye Diana" I said to myself. Maybe he's got a call from the office or he has an urgent meeting. Who knows.
"Gosh what the hell are you thinking Diana Roberts Focus!" I said to myself as I hit my palm with my forehead. I walked over to the counter to drop the orders that I've got so far when I saw Kira walking towards me.

"Hey Kira wats up, all good?" I asked
"Yeah sure, don't you think we should start going already I mean it's past 4 already and I'm thinking we should start going or what do you think, and please don't tell me you're waiting till closing before we move"
"Very funny Kira, you talking as if this is my first time here or maybe I don't know our boss" I said chuckling
"Good thing you know girl" she replied rolling her eyeballs
"For your kind information" I continued as I stare at her?
"I wasn't gonna wait till closing I was just going to wait for five to hit before we move but since you moved the motion I bet we should hit the road now"I said
"Or do you still have anything to do?"
"If I wasn't free would I be here, of course not, let's get going already would ya"
"Well I'm not in your section so you don't expect me to know whether you are free or not, I'm just being nice that's why I'm asking anyways not like i care" I said as we started walking towards the closet to change to our original outfits
"Awwnnnn miss Nice" she said smiling as she did an air quote
"I know you care, you just wouldn't say it" she said
"Oh no I don't"
"Oh yes, you do" she replied
"No I don't"
"Yes you do"
"No I don't arrrgh" I said acting frustrated?
"Yes you do my love" she said smiling?
"I give up " I said raising my hands to the air and slamming them on my thighs
"Yup, as it should be, you know you can never win an argument with me anyways" she said giving me a wicked smile?
"Whatever, I just don't have your time anyways" I said, rolling my eyes as we walked in the closet to change. As we entered the closet we started changing. Then I decided to ask her if perhaps she knew or had any hint on why our boss asks us to meet up with him somewhere. I mean that has never happened.
"Kira" I called out to her
"Why do you think the boss called us anyway?"
"I don't have any actually but i overheard him saying some stuffs about sending him some girls to deliver some packages I don't know if that's us though, you remember he was talking about the restaurant having an outing or something"
"Yeah true, that we have an occasion to grace I think"
"Yeah that, maybe he wants to discuss about that who knows"
"You have a point there, well, let's see how this goes" I said as we walked out of the closet in our casual clothes. We walked to the counter to sign out of the restaurant which I'm still wondering why we do that
"Don't you think it's weird we have to sign in and out anytime we are coming in or going out of the restaurant?" I said to Kira.
"I don't even think about it Dia, you overthink too much girl"
"It's not my fault, i just find it weird that's all, i mean it looks so old school"
"I'm sure middle schools this days don't even do that s**t anymore" I continued rumbling
"You know what how about you ask him when we get to where we are going or what do you think" she said
"Ha ha ha, very funny," I said , rolling my eyes ?. We got to the counter, signed out and we headed towards the exit
"Kira?" I called out to her
"What is it now Diana?" Kira stopped and gave me a frustrating look
"Heyyy I was just gonna ask for the address of where we are going that's all, or we will just discover the place all of a sudden?"
"He already sent the address so we are good to go, and can you do me a favor?"
"What's that?" I replied
"Please just don't bother me as we go please" she asked dramatically with folded hands
"Whatever" I said , rolling my eyes.
We got to where the boss asked us to come, then we discovered we were called to come serve food at a party organized by Jake's friend (the boss's friend). It was a little get-together of a club that I couldn't figure out. Upon see us the boss asked us to go to a particular room and we obeyed without objection
"Well I hope he's not going to kill us?" I said sarcastically
"Even if he wanted us to, we are in public , so he can't? We don't know why he said we should go there so chill okay?" Kira said
"Whatever it is it should be something good". We entered the room and we were welcomed by girls who are also our age which I guessed was also her with the same motive as us. The day went on with me walking up and down tirelessly without stopping while Kira was stuck in the kitchen because of the chef that she is. And I couldn't help but just pray it ends quickly and I guess God is by my side. After some minutes the boss told us we can leave that the other girls will take care of the rest and I was very delighted I got out of there as soon as I can not bothering whether the boss complain or not
"Hey wait for me" I heard Kira say but I was long gone, and so didn't bother waiting for her
