Elliot is a twenty three year old with dark straight hair, he's about 6 '2 feet tall, with a huge masculine body. He has a somewhat oval face with a cute well of dimple sitting comfortably on his right cheek, his dimple shows the exclamation point to his smile. His gray eyes had the bluish hue of sunlight upon slate, with a hue so softly gray that they could have been pencil drawn. They had that look of birds flying on sunlit days, the shine and quick movement, yet relaxed, purposeful, at ease.
Every morning he anchors the morning television show "The act of Justice" where he talks about the low class people, how they have been cheated most of the time, and the need for the government to come to their rescue .
He talks about how young girls are been r***d, and murdered if they try to raise their voices. He recently did his research on a girl who was r***d to death by a certain gang which is still unknown to the public but he didn't really say much on it , I guess maybe they are just to powerful for him to conquer and I bet he wouldn't wanna waste his life now.
As I saw him zoom off I proceed towards my apartment as I pass through my neighbors' house I heard the sound of their dog "Peanut" such a weird name to give a dog, he ran out of the house and was heading towards my direction I guess he perceived my smell already
"Hey boy, how are you doing" I said to him and he kept on barking as a sign of happiness
"Look what I brought for you " I inserted my hand into my twenty year old bag to bring out the leftover pizza I brought for him. I stood up from where I squatted and jingled the pizza around which made him roll around and jump in circles as he tried to collect the pizza.
"Catch!" I threw the pizza two feet away from him and he ran as fast as he could to pick it up. Peanut is an intelligent, playful Scottish Golden Retriever with a dark gold fur color I left him and started walking towards my apartment
I checked under the doormat to see if Ary is back yet, but I guess she isn't. I picked up the keys, opened the door and went straight to my room.
As I walk in the door, a cool breeze from the windows blows on my face. It's a small room but it's nice. I flanged myself on the little bed of mine to relax my mind. My room is where I feel the most comfortable, and shows my personality. This is the place where I can really be myself and do what I want; and of course it’s the place I come home to. My room makes me feel comfortable because it is my own space. If I can't do everything , at least I have something I can call mine.
Another reason that my room makes me feel comfortable is that I love to dance, but I am embarrassed to do it in front of other people, so whenever I am in my room I can turn on the radio and put on some of my favorite music and dance my best. My room gives me the confidence that I don’t have in other places, it helps me to have trust in myself, I can do the most ridiculous thing but my room won’t say anything, it will never judge me.
My room is the only place where I will try new things and if I feel confident I will try them outside of it. I will give it my best and that is how my room helps me, by doing something there.
First, I believe more in myself even when no one does my room at least believe in me
"You are one hell of a crazy human being," I said to myself and giggled.
I stood up from my bed to pump in water from the balcony, I made my way to the kitchen just to find anything to help make dinner for Ary when she came back. I knew she would be so exhausted when she comes home that's if I'm not even asleep yet anyways.
I decided to make her some pasta cause that's the only thing I found the ingredients complete in this little kitchen of ours. The kitchen is a bit large compared to my room even though it's not well furnished but at least we could do our best here. One thing Ari and I have in common, we both love cooking even though we don't cook all the time. We mostly eat stuff from our respective workplace but we do try to smuggle in some cool stuff and enjoy ourselves once in a while.
After making the pasta I went back to my room and took a shower, jumped on my bed and some minutes dozed off. "Tomorrow is another day" I murmured to myself before falling asleep.
Sunlight seeping through the glass window of my room woke me up, the sun poured through my window as the light of dawn seeped into my room. The level of noise pollution in the mornings is less compared to the other times of the day. The sky was bright and the birds were chirping and enjoying the cool breeze.
I checked the time on my phone and it was past 9
"f**k s**t!" I quickly sat up and swung my legs off the bed. I'm fifteen minutes late already and after what happened yesterday at work I'm not even supposed to be late at all. I hurriedly took a two minute bath and thankfully this time there's still water... I can't even imagine what would have happened if Ary had used up all the water again... Only God knows what she uses the water for anyways, quickly I pulled on a pair of jeans and threw on the first shirt I came across. I don't even have the time to start selecting what to wear... funny what's there to select anyways.
