"Sir, " I called out to him so I wouldn't miss him before he left the restaurant.
"Sir" I called out to him again like three times before he looked back and it was then I knew I wasn't overthinking he looks familiar but I just can't pinpoint when and where I saw him
"Yes?" He said snapping me out
"Yeah, errmm you look familiar...
"Pardon" he said making me realize I've been thinking out loud
"Oh I'm sorry, your wallet sir, I mean your wallet fell down sir"
"Oh Thanks" he said as he collected the wallet from me and walked out like he was avoiding me or something
"There's something off with this man"
"I know right" I heard a familiar voice from behind me and I looked back to see who it was.
"Oh hey, wats up" I greeted
"What are you doing here" he asked as he stretched his hands out for a hug
"Oh" I murmured and I gave him a hug
"I don't actually know what you are talking about, I saw you from where I was sitting and I came closer to see if it's really you and I heard you thinking out loud, so I just said something to make my presence known, I didn't mean to intrude though"
"Oh no it's fine"
"How are you doing and what is a big guy like you doing here anyways?"
"Well if you can still remember clearly I think I told you yesterday that I do come here often and I do stop by sometimes to get myself something's"
"Oh yeah true you said so"
"So, that's exactly what I'm doing. I do see this restaurant whenever I'm passing by so I just decided to stop by and see how this place looks"
"And how is it?"
"It's pretty nice actually, their customer service is errm well I'd rate it 7 on 10 "
"Oh wow that's nice of you"
"And the interiors look nice, they've got some really nice paintings hung up on the wall which look pretty expensive for a small restaurant like this don't you think?"
"Yeah I do think about it too, but my boss is pretty rich so I guess that calls for all this"
"Hmmm..well I'd do with that for now"
"Lol"
"Wait a minute did you say "boss""
"Errrmm, yeah?"
"Boss, as in you work here?"
"Oh hello, I'm wearing an apron with a black and.white uniform which all employees are wearing right now? So if I'd ask, would a normal person wear that to a restaurant?" I asked laughing
"Ohh, I didn't really take note of your outfit , that's why"
"Well maybe you should take note next time" I said laughing
"Yeah I will"
"So," I said offering him a sit
"What would you like to order sir?"
"Hmm...I wouldn't wanna stress you that much so I'd just do with a green tea"
"Okay, noted. Anything else?" I asked as I write down is order on a piece of paper
"Hmm..na, that's enough I guess"
"Ok, your order will be here in the next five minutes"
"Ok ma'am" he said as I walked away to the counter to place his order
"Hey Kyle, can I get a green tea,a customer over there wants one" I said as I pointed to where Elliot is
"Okay right away." He said as he started making the tea, as he was doing his job, what Elliot said about my boss got me thinking but I mean he's rich right, but we'll he's too rich for his only source of income to be this restaurant. He probably has another business running somewhere right?
"Oh what's that" Kyle asked
"Oh no no no not you" i replied
"Are you done yet?" I asked
"Yeah sure" he said as he brought the green tea. I scanned for where Elliot is sitting because I see he's moved from where he was.
"Gotcha" I said to myself as I walked my way over to his table where he was sitting comfortably at the right hand corner of the restaurant. But why on earth would he sit at the corner that wasn't where I ushered him to sit? At least I expected him to sit in the middle or something..lol . Such a weirdo!
"Here you go" I said as I placed his green tea on his table.
"Thank you"
"You're welcome sir" I said
"I thought we talked about this already Diana"
"I'm at work so I'm just following protocols don't worry I'm gonna stop when we are out of this building"I said as he wanted to continued to cut him off
"Ok then."
"Why are you sitting here by the way isn't this too you know cornered or something" I said smiling because of the blunder I just made
"Nothing much actually. I just love sitting at the corner, you get to see all the views from here, you should try it once you get to understand what I'm talking about." He said smiling
"That reminds me when do you close here? Like the time and all"
"Sorry?"
"Lol are you scared?" He asked
"No I'm not" I said with so much confidence in me
"So answer my simple question when do you guys close, don't worry I'm just asking Incase I wanna stop by next time" he said with a smirk
"Oh my good Lord" I said with a smile
"On a normal day we close around six but today I'm gonna leave early cause my boss wants me and my friend to visit one place like that, I think I'm gonna be leaving soon enough cause the last thing i wanna do right now is to get on his bad side" I said with a chuckle
"Oh ok then " he said
"Well, I will take your leave now I've got to attend to other customers too" I said
"Yeah sure you are free to go"
"Thanks..bye for now" I said with a smile and walked to other customers who needed any attention. I was attending to my fifth customer when I saw Elliot hurriedly walk over to the counter to pay off and he disappeared all of a sudden.
"Not even a goodbye Diana" I said to myself. Maybe he's got a call from the office or he has an urgent meeting. Who knows.
"Gosh what the hell are you thinking Diana Roberts Focus!" I said to myself as I hit my palm with my forehead. I walked over to the counter to drop the orders that I've got so far when I saw kira walking towards me
