NEXT MORNING
We prepared to go back to school today as I get on the bus I sit next to Alessia.
"That sit is for Paula". Sabi nito saka itinuro ang kinauupuan ko.
"I don't care". I answer and lay on her shoulder.
"What are you doing?". Tanong nito...pero imbis na sagutin ko ito ay ipinikit ko lang ang aking mata at natulog.

Nasa kalagitnaan kami ng byahe ng bigla kaming may makasalubong na truck... it was supposed to be one way.
"We don't have a break!". Sigaw ng aming driver...bago pa kami makalabas ng sasakyan ay bumanga na ang aming bus na sinasakyan sa bus the windows broke, naramdaman ko din na tumama ang aking ulo sa bakal and that time I lose my consciousness.
5 DAY'S LATER

"Alessia.... Alessia wake up please". Paulit-ulit kong pakiusap habang hawak ang kamay ng aking anak.
"Fenix... please don't leave me". Nagulat ako ng bigla itong magsalita, agad akong lumabas ng kwarto at tumawag ng doctor.

I woke up the first thing that I saw when I open my eyes was the ceiling, iginala ko ang aking mata at doon ko napansin na nasa ospital pala ako.
I get my phone and text Paula.

Where are you?
You're awake? I'm in the school I woke up 3 day's after the accident.
The teacher is here I will get going... bye I will just visit you in the hospital after class, bye. ?

How about Fenix? Did he survive?
I was thinking about him that time but my thoughts suddenly got cut off when I heard the door opening. Iniluwa nito si mama kasama ang doctor at nurse.
"Oh my! You're already awake". Sabi ni mama na maluha-luhang tumakbo papunta sa akin at saka ako niyakap.
"Mom I'm okay,don't cry". Sabi ko agad naman itong bumitaw sa pagkakayakap sa akin.
"Ehem... excuse me ma'am but I think I need to check her now". Singit ng doktor sa isip-isip ko ay mabuti nalang at pinutol nito ang sasabihin ni mama dahil parang papagalitan na naman ako nito.
"She's better now, just let her take a rest... after 2 day's she can be discharged from the hospital". The doctor said staring at my mother and after that he excuse himself.
"Kaya ayaw kitang payagan sa mga school trip na yan eh". My mom said and sit on the chair beside me.
"Ma nagyari na eh, wag mo na sisishin sarili mo". I said.
"Ma magpahinga ka kaya muna, uwi ka muna sa bahay alam ko pagod ka na din eh okay lang naman ako". Suhestyon ko kahit hindi magsabi si mama alam ko na pagod na din sya.
"I'm okay you are the one who should take a rest go... magpahinga ka na". Wala naman akong nagawa kundi ang sumunod nalang, I want her to take rest pero ayaw ko naman na magalit sya sakin pag hindi ako sumunod.
Don't worry about me because I'm fine.
But where are you?

"Alessia! Alessia!". I said trying to wake up Alessia...wala na doon si tita kase sabi ko ako muna magbabantay kay Alessia para naman makapagpahinga sya, oras na din ng pag-inom ni Alessia ng gamot kaya sinusubukan ko na itong gisingin.
Ilang minuto ko din syang inuga-uga para magising... and finally.
Nagkusot pa ito ng mata at saka nag-inat bago tuluyang bumangon.
"Paula". She exclaimed.
"Yes, me". Sabi ko naman.
"But before you started to say something take your medicine first". Sabi ko saka iniabot sa kanya ang gamot agad naman niya itong ininom at saka nagsalita.
"I have something to ask you". Sa pagkakasabi palamang niya ng salitang yon ay parang nakikinita ko na na si Fenix ang tatanungin nya.
"Where's is he... Fenix?". She asked.
I took a deep breath and finally answer her question.
"He's fine but it's he's memory that is gone... also he's a cyborg now he got multiple injuries and the doctor have to change some parts of his body to be able to live". I answered, tears from her eyes started to fall.
"Dalawang araw palang ng makasama ko sya bakit? bakit naman ganon ang unfair ng mundo... I just wanted to be with him even if it's just a friend, but why?"She said while crying I give her a hug as a comfort.
" Don't cry... everything will be okay ". I said trying to make her stop from crying.
I can't deny it, matagal na nagintau si Alessia sa taong iyon, but now that man is just like a lost prince... he didn't know where to go and what to do.
