CHAPTER 17-MISSING YOU

I was in the flower shop it's already 5 in the afternoon.I was about to leave when I suddenly feel dizzy.

"Sir,are you okay?". Agad na lumapit sa akin ang isang staff at tinanong ako.

"I'm okay". Sagot ko saka lumakad palabas ng store.

Naramdaman ko na lalo pang sumakit ang aking ulo, nagsimula na ring lumabo ang aking paningin, and I saw a picture of my past.

It really hurt.

Napahawak nalang ako sa ulo ko habang naglalakad... nararamdaman ko na lalo pa itong sumakit.Hindi inaasahan ay biglang nanlabo ang aking paningin.

Pasado alas sais na ng gabi pero wala parin si Fenix.

"Asan na sya? Dadating pa ba yun?". Tanong ng kapatid ko.

"Ma, tawagan ko lang sya". Tumango lang si mama.

I get my phone and call him but he's not answering my call.

Where are you? Pick up.

"Is everything okay?". My mom asked... I don't know why but I feel nervous.

"He's not answering my call". I sigh and answer.

I tried to call him again.

"Hello?". A voice from other line answer, vut it's not him.

"Hello who is this, where is Fenix?". Agad kong tanong.

"It's his brother, and Fenix... he's in the hospital". Nanlumo ako ng makinig ang salitang iyon.

Hospital? Why?

"Is he okay?". I asked.

"He's okay,he fainted...he's memory are coming back". Bulalas pa ni Alex. "But are you he's girlfriend?". Biglang tanong nito.

"Yes". Maikling sagot ko.

"Don't worry about him, he will be okay". Sabi nito saka ibinaba ang telepono.

"Mom he can't come". Sabi ko nanlaki naman ang mata ni mama sa sinabi ko.

"Why?". Tanong nito.

"To be honest he have an amnesia, and he's in the hospital right now". Sagot ko.

I thought mom will be mad at me because I love someone who has an amnesia... but she come to me and hug me.

"It's okay, everything will be fine". Sabi sakin ni mama... nagsimula ng pumatak ang luha sa aking mga mata, I just want to love him, but why? I want to love him so bad but eveytime that I'm with him... everything goes wrong.

I'm now in the school it feels new, hangang ngayon di pa rin nya ako tinatawagan o kahit text wala.

"Alessia". Napalingon ako ng marinig ang boses...it's Paula.

"You're here... wait there is something new on you". I can't explain but there is something on her.

Tumayo ako at saka lumapit sa kanya.Hinawakan ko ang pisngi nito na namumuti.

Makeup?

"You're wearing makeup?". Tanong ko dito... she's literally not wearing makeup. "What's up? Why are you wearing makeup?". I asked.

"I just wanted to be pretty, how do I look?".Tanong nito.

"It's okay". Sagot ko saka naupong muli.

Paula De Guzman

"How about you and Fenix? How's your relationship going?". Tanong ko saka naupo sa bangko sa harap nito.

"It's okay,there's not a lot of things to talk about". Sagot nito.

Biglaan namang dumating ang aming guro.

I was in the hospital bed lying... my head hurts.Nakita ko sa tabi ko si papa kaya natutulog, what happen to me?

Napansin ko na bumukas ang pinto.

"You're awake?". Bulalas nito saka agad na tumakbo palapit sa akin. "How do you feel? Are you okay?". Tanong pa nito.

"I'm okay, what happened? why I'm here?". Tanong ko...naupo naman ito sa tabi ko.

"You fainted on your way". Sagot nito."And also your girlfriend call on that day". Girlfriend?

"Girlfriend? I don't have girlfriend". Sabi ko, agad namang kumunot ang noo ng kapatid ko.

"What are you telling?". Tanong nito.

Naramdaman ko na kumibo si papa... at bumangon na nga ito.

"You're awake". He exclaim and hug me.

"Dad I'm okay". Sabi ko saka bumitaw sa pagkakayakap ni papa.

"Here". Singit ng kapatid ko saka inabot sakin ang cellphone ko. "Open it and go on your contact". Utos nito sakin.

Sinunod ko naman ang sinabi nito.

My girlfriend? She's beautiful, but who is she?

"I don't remember her". Kumunot ang noo ni Kuya at ni papa.

"What are you saying, the doctor says your memory are coming back... but you don't remember her". Takang sabi ng kapatid ko.

"Dad I will call the doctor". Sabi ng kapatid ko saka tumayo at lumabas sa kwarto.

I was already in home, still Fenix didn't call me... no text message from him.

I miss him.
