The wedding night… Logan and I sit across from each other, waiting for our breakfast. We’ve both ordered the same thing: eggs with sausage and a side of pancakes. I’m ready to drown everything in maple syrup. “Okay?” Logan asks, smiling wide. I don’t think he’s stopped smiling since we got here, even when he almost spilled his coffee into his lap. I’m waiting for my second cup, glancing around for the waiter. “Yeah. I’m okay. You?” “You’re not cold or anything?” I shake my head. “The coffee’s doing its job.
