Logan slept on the couch again. I slept in my huge bed but stayed huddled in a small corner to try to keep my warm bubble occupied. This morning, though, everything feels extra cold. The floors are icy underneath my double socked feet. The surfaces in my kitchen are icy to the touch. My candles have been burning steadily for the past few days now, and even I, a candle fiend, am wondering if we’re going to run out of my supply soon. The morning’s still gray like and the from what I can tell when I step outside to the cold and wet to check on the produce, the snow has turned into freezing rain. It’s warmer, which is a good thing, but from experience, if the temperature hovers where it is for the next few days, all we’re going to get is freezing rain. We might just get a repeat of the 1
