Axel’s POV
Cat was true to her word. She didn’t leave the office all day unless we did. She listened to our meeting but didn’t say much.
“Come on, let’s go get the boys and go have dinner,” Dax said, standing up from his desk.
“I have to run an errand and will meet you two there,” I said.
“What are you doing?” He linked me.
“We don’t want her to go, so we are going to slip her a sleeping pill and she won’t know until we are long gone.” I linked back.
“She is going to hate us.”
“She can hate us, but she we will be safe.”
“I agree,” Dax finally linked me.
“Good, we’re leaving at three now so that she will long be passed out when we leave.”
