Dax's POV
Cat just walked out of the office and I felt bad for ignoring her, but right now we just needed some time to process things. I knew Axel would bury himself in work for a while and I will just ignore everyone for a while. It is just how we are. We had been here for a few hours when a soft knock came at the door. We both ignored it and kept our heads down, but whoever was on the other side slowly opened the door.
"We didn't say come in," Axe growled at them and not looking up.
"I am sorry, I will go," Cat's soft voice said.
"No baby, come in," I told her.
She walked over to me and sat down in my lap and wrapped her arms around me and just held onto me. Axel gave us a dirty look and got up from his desk and stormed out of the room.
