Catarina’s POV
I could feel the sun shining in on me. It felt nice. I tried to open my eyes but they wouldn’t yet. I could smell my mates in the room with me and I could feel the sparks where they were touching me and if someone talked, I could hear them. I just couldn’t seem to make my body cooperate just yet.
“Alita, are you there?” I asked my wolf.
She never answered me. I don’t know if he killed her, but I prayed that wasn’t the case. I had grown to love her, but I haven’t been able to talk to her since they tied us up. I was so afraid she was gone forever.
I focused on moving and couldn’t. Any attempt brought pain to my body. Since I couldn’t do anything, I focused on sleeping.
