Axel’s POV
We had just announced Cat as our future Luna, and the pack was so excited. They didn’t know that she was a hunter, but we had planned on keeping it that way. Then we announced Talon as the beta and they were even more excited. Word had gotten around what Richard had done, but not why he did it and so they were happy to see him gone.
Cat’s cheeks were still a little pink from the embarrassment from when she had to stand up in front of everyone. I found it adorable. I want to see that pink on her cheeks more often. I sat there watching her, but she just pushed her food around and didn’t eat.
“Kitty Cat, are you ok?” I finally asked her.
“Yes.”
“You are not eating?”
“I am not hungry. I think I am going to go to my room for the night.”
