A Royal Arrangement

Mr. Wayne!!??

I woke up, made blueberry pancakes for Finn and then hopped into the shower. All I could remember was the events of yesterday, what are we going to do!?? I planned on  confronting my dad but I had no idea what to say. I had no idea how he was going to respond, so here I was in the shower for about an hour, trying to come up with enough courage to confront him. 

I didn't know what to do nor what to say. In the mean time, I'll find something to wear before seeing him. I knocked on his door and in a low voice I heard "Come in." I could hear the sadness and worry in his voice, which just made my heart drop even more. 

"Hey Dad" "He munchkin, you okay?" Yea I'm fine just needed to talk to you. "Well good cause I need to talk to you also. Alright, I'll let you go first. Sweetie, I don't want you to hate me after this but I really need your help and your the only one that can help me, otherwise I'd surely ask someone else. You know prince Wayne right? "Yes, what does he have to do with us and my help?" Well his reputation is currently tarnished and his dad ask for my help to help him regain his reputation and in return he'll help me with my corporation. "How am I suppose to help him with that? don't tell me you're suggesting that I- no way dad, that's a bit extreme don't you think!!" 

I know sweetie and I'm sorry but if I loose the corporation, I loose everything, no money, no roof over our heads because how will I pay the rent and buy food and take care of you all. And what about Finn, you know more than anyone that he can't have another change in routine.

I'm sorry I have to ask you this but it won't be as bad as it sounds. "I can't believe what you are asking of me right now." After saying that I just ran out bout not before hearing "I'm sorry munchkin but we are meeting them tomorrow." I needed to think after all I just heard. 

I knew I said that I wanted to help in any way that I can but this is NOT what I meant. I didn't know what think nor what to do, so I just kept on running and running until I bumped into something hard and muscular. 

"You should watch we're you're goin!" his voice caught me off guard. Who could this person be. I slowly looked up and was instantly mesmerized by his muscular jawline and chiseled chin. "Hellooo, are you deaf, how hard did you bump into me." His snarly comment shook me back to my sense, how can you be so handsome yet egocentric. 

I wanted to snap back ad him but I was in no mood to, so I just gave him a death glare than apologize and walked off after. I had no time to contemplate on what had just happened, I just needed to find another way to help my dad and the company because ain't no way I'm getting engaged or married to a prince I'd just met. 

I know I said I'd do anything if it meant freedom for my little brother and I but isn't this just over the top!!??
