Mitch’s phone rang and Marcus’ name came up. With a glance to his watch, Mitch noted it was eight a.m. local time, and two a.m. in Washington D.C.
“Marcus, what are you doing up?”
“We have something major. I finished the laptop sweep last night, then I set an alarm to alert me if anything new came in. A file just came in now. A file called The Fourth Reich and I’ve only read the first page but this is top security.”
“Can you ring John, then both of you call me back on a conference line?”
“Done,” Marcus said, and hung up.
A few minutes later the phone rang again. Mitch answered.
“John, Marcus, I’m putting you on speaker phone, we’re in a secure area and I’ve got Adam and Eva with me.”
