I was finally getting discharged. The moment Daniel told me I was free to go, I spread my arms in happiness.
"Let’s hang out sometime later, beauty," Daniel said with a grin.
Jesse shot him a look of jealousy.

I laughed heartily. Over the past few days, we had gotten a bit closer. I turned to Jesse. "Why didn’t you introduce your funny friend to me earlier?"
