I leaned back on the chair, tapping my fingers against the desk as I watched Luke stand waiting for my instructions. Jesse’s men were nothing if not efficient. Within hours, they had dug up more dirt on my dear brothers than I could have imagined. "How bad is it?" I asked, my voice calm but laced with anticipation. Luke placed the thick file in front of me. "Bad enough to bury them alive," he said simply. I opened the file, my eyes scanning the pages. The deeper I read, the more disgusted I became.
